Bjelin Hardened Wood Flooring features patented Woodura® technology, a breakthrough innovation that compresses and hardens real wood to create floors that are up to three times stronger than traditional wood flooring. Just as the introduction of 3-layer parquet revolutionised the industry in 1944, Woodura represents a major advancement in wood flooring technology.
This innovative hardening process delivers a highly durable surface that eliminates the need for sanding over time. By using thinner wood layers during production, Woodura allows for the creation of ten times more flooring from the same amount of timber, making it a cost-effective and environmentally responsible solution.
The Reliable Wood Core
At the heart of our Bjelin Hardened Wood Flooring lies the moisture-resistant Välinge Compositek™ core, a key innovation that significantly enhances the floor’s durability and long-term performance.
Unlike conventional HDF (High-Density Fibreboard), this advanced core is engineered with superior moisture resistance and structural integrity. During production, the wood veneer and core are fused together using a patented powder mix, forming a unique transition zone. This zone increases surface density and dramatically improves resistance to swelling.

This revolutionary system has passed the ISO Topical Moisture Test, withstanding 24 hours of water exposure followed by 24 hours of drying, meeting the rigorous standards of ISO 4760 for moisture resistance and durability.
