Interiors Influencer, Sophie renovated her family home with Natureffect plank in Cromer Sands Oak
After moving into their new home, Sophie from 'lifeatsophs' was keen to create a warm and welcoming design that not only reflected their current tastes, but also their current needs as parents to young children. When discussing how she drew inspiration for the project, Sophie explains how she used mood-boarding techniques to plan the design that turned her new build house into their family homeâŠ
âWe live in a new build house which can look rather boxy and they donât tend to have much character. We wanted our home to feel warm and inviting but also be quite minimal as we have two toddlers running around! When choosing how to decorate the house I take inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram. We do most of the work ourselves as we love to get stuck in and have the satisfaction of looking at a finished project that we created! Mood-boarding is my first step when designing a new room. Once I know what colour scheme and furniture I want, the rest flows into it. I love mixing interior styles tooâ

When discussing how the flooring has been in their busy family household, Sophie explained: âIt has been over a year since we installed our flooring and weâve had no issues. The children have spilled many things on it, weâve had potty training accidents and spilled water bottles, and it is so easy to clean. We are very pleased!â.
